Vice President Compliance and Contracts - Bremen Germany

Based: Bremen, Germany

 The Company: Our client is a Pre-IPO global Enterprise Software vendor specialising in endpoint management solutions and is looking for a Vice President of Compliance and Contracts to be based out of Bremen, Germany.

 ••You must speak both Germany and English

 Job Description: The Vice President of Compliance and Contracts advises and supports the executive leadership team to ensure compliance with external and internal regulations to minimize risks and secure the company's success in the long term. 

 Responsibilities: Advising the organization and all of its international entities on compliance issues related to business, information technology, export controls and legal aspects, as well as conducting reviews and providing recommendations on local, national and international compliance issues. Overseeing the compliance and contracts (sales, supplier and related) management systems and implementation of necessary processes and training throughout the international group to comply with laws, regulations and various standards. 

 Leading and developing the global compliance team, including employees at other locations. Implementing the annual compliance risk analysis, including coordinating the participation of all departments in the risk assessment, recording of measures, plausibility analysis and final reporting. Generating and coordinating regular compliance reports (eg., annual compliance report, fraud report, etc.). 

 Overseeing the continuous implementation of the contracts management system, including liaising with departments throughout the group. Ensuring that all internal approval processes are established and followed. 

 Qualifications and skills: Master's degree (or Diplom, in Germany) in law, business administration, or related subject and several years of experience in the relevant areas of compliance and interface with contracts, corporate, labor, IT, public and international regulatory environments. Successful track record in a significant management role in compliance and contracts in a business entity, and extensive knowledge in this area, as well as risk management. 

Experience in a multinational company highly preferred. Collaborative leader with strong communication skills and the ability to work in an international, matrix environment.
